i own thoasands of CD's of all genre's (mostly rock and pop) and i initially became familiar with mark mangold throu his work with a band called "touch" which sprang from the ashes of "the american tears". even after all these years "touch" is still a power pop classic to this day!!!! anyway mark mangold was the prinicipal songwriter and keyboardist aswell as part time lead vocalist for "touch". this album is slightly different, being more of a new age, introspective adult contemprorary pop album. sounds a bit like steely dan at times or perhaps more like Mr. Mister on there "go on" album. shimmering keyboards and powerful vocals inundate this disc. One can really tell that Mark really put alot of his heart and soul into this project as opposed to the more commercial things he recorded with American Tears, touch, drive she said, etc..... i always loved mark mangold but with this album i truly became aware of his incredible talent. it's a shame that many people have never heard of this artist let alone ever get the chance to enjoy this disc. Highly recommeded!!!!
