For those not aware, Clara Ponty is the daughter of Jean Luc Ponty a groundbreaking Jazz Violinist. She is the featured artist here. Her father joins her on 7 of the compositions. Clara has a more feminine take on jazz. The music is a cross of jazz and classical. She does some vocal things that are more chant like. To hear Clara on piano with her dad on violin, i suggest this CD.
