I remebered this album from my youth back in 1990. We usually listened to it at my friends parties. He always had the most recent cassettes that were coming out in the metal genre. So when I came across it on Amazon recently, I snagged it up quick. It had been years since I last heard it and oh how the memories of youth rushed before my eyes after the first spin. This album is an instant classic ! The vocals are great as is the guitar work and the overall feel of the music is timeless. Every song is good here. No filler ! The album freeflows from start to finish. No loss of energy or fizziling, (is that spelled right ?), out. LOL ! Yes I still use it. I'm geriatric. The only complaint is that between songs 2 and 3 there isn't supposed to be a pause. The cymbal crashes at the end of song 2 and 3 just comes in. Well you guessed it there's the pause, that 1 second blip that drives me crazy. It seems to be happening with lots of digital downloads these days and even cds you buy at stores. For some reason, if the material is live or connected this happens. Either from cd transfers or from mp3 downloads from Amazon or itunes. Now it could be just my computer on this too. I've had trouble before where others didn't with the same material. Nevertheless, don't let it stop you from buying it. The rest of the album is flawless. If you like like old school metal where people actually played their instruments with talent aand percission this is for you. Happy listening ! You won't believe your ears !
